4 Things I Wish I Knew Before starting Law School

A few years ago, I happened to sit in the wrong classroom. The instructor was teaching a module on negligence, and I was fascinated! What did I do next? I decided to study law! Little did I know what I was getting myself into. Don’t get me wrong, studying law was the best decision I’ve ever made. However, there are some things I wish I knew before starting law school.

Women and the Workplace: Are workplaces cut out for women?

I recently watched a movie called “Down With Love” – a 2003 rom-com set in the 1960s, in New York City. What stuck with me after watching the movie, was a dialogue by Vikki Hiller (played by Sarah Paulson):

This got me thinking… is it actually true that workplaces aren’t made for women? Are women merely accommodated in the workplace even in the 21st Century?
